536 players for a new record
536 players took part in this second stage of the Chilipoker Deepstack Open, for its second season. The Barrière Casino ,”Le Croisette” has been busy all weekend (from Thursday to Sunday) with players playing the main event, the side events and cash game.
The previous record was held by the DSO in Namur, Belgium, last year. This time, passionate French players along with a huge amount of Italians made this DeepStack Open a good example for the future stages. That’s what the DSO is all about : a team of poker fanatics, organizing a tournament for other poker fanatics 
. Three websites and poker magazines (Club Poker, Made In Poker and Poker52) were here to make a coverage, along with lots of professional players making this tournament even more popular on the French soil.
Roger Hairabedian (42nd, €1,500), Eric Haik (40th, 1,750€), Sarah Herzali (79th, €750), but also Guillaume Darcourt, Philippe Ktorza, Anthony Hnartow, Léo Truche or winner of the first ever DSO in Dublin, Frederic Brunet (80th, €750) came along proving that the DSO is for amateurs, but not only!

With a record of 536 players, 80 of them got some money back. Prizes started at €750 up to €45,000 for the winner.
