After dinner yesterday I met one of the amateur players playing right now. His name is Emanuel Valla and he is coming from Lyon, if I remember well 
.
It was fun because he wanted to improve his English while I wanted to become fully conversant in French. At the end the best choice for me was to let him speak English!
We got talking about poker, travelling, France and Malta. Very nice chat. This morning I met him right before the tournament started and wished him good luck.
I went out for a glass of water and when I came back he stopped me saying he eliminated Liz Lieu and Roger Hairabedian and now has a big stack! 2 Pros in one hand!! The three of them went ALL IN pre flop and his pocket tens held up against <card>Ad</card> 4d (Liz Lieu) and 8D QD (Roger Hairabedian).
Also Fabrice Soulier was eliminated and the bounty went to Fabrice Allien. As I write I see Severin walking through the tables…it doesnt look good if you walk and check the tables while the others are playing….I think he got out as well. What about Tony G? He busted as well, as I hear he got pocket Aces but was beaten by a Flush.
This led me to ask the fatal question: Who’s left among the PROS? The reply was Alexandre Dreyfus! Yes he is still in and the only one with a bounty on his head.
12 players left, soon there will be the final table. I’ll go and check out how my new friend is doing, because if he wins he will want to celebrate. And what are friends for if you dont support and celebrate with them?
